Hi All - I have been a member on the range rover sport forum for a couple of years and have had great advise from members on that forum. I have a 2007 range rover sport hse and i am thinking of changing it for a 2012 Freelander XS.
Has anyone moved from a Range Rover Sport to a Freelander and were they disappointed after the move. If so what was the reason - Thanks.

Sorry can't be of more help but we have a member that moved from a Freely to an RRS and he is bitterly upset. he has no friends now either.

I know someone thats moved from a RRS to a new Evoque, not so much of a shock, so that would seem the best route to go, then later drop down to a FL2 if you need to, depends how low you can go I suppose.

EYorkshire speaks with consummate wisdom on this matter - the transference from a barge (however sporting) to a nimble Freelander (however deprived of air suspension) is laudable (with the proviso that Kelley07 you do not have a harem or 3 kids in tow) to an more economic diesel 4x4 that's as able on road & off road as its flabbier cousin.

Be warned though - the load space capacity of an FL2 is restricted.

Truth be told, I'd love the idea of having a RRS, but would hate to give up the Freelander to get one. There's a lot I'd hate to give up on the Freelander too, like how easy it is too park, its tiny turning circle, its running costs and probably its reliability too

I hope it's an easy decision for you either way

RRS isnt as cumbersome to park as I thought it might be, big mirrors and reversing sensors make it easy, finding a suitable sized space isnt always easy in the local market town, but I had that trouble in the fl2 too At work

Do the bsm come with a bulldozer and push all the cars off the full high street. I wish they would, I cant even park within 200 yards of the fish n chip shop on a Saturday, So me and the boy end up walking past the toy shop, Im think of making him wear a blindfold . At work
