2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Lago Grey

Hi, mine had the same issues early on but has now done 36k and doesn't appear to use a drop between services now. Give it some more miles before worrying!

United Kingdom

Mine (SD4) had about 1 litre topped up over first year. My Mini Cooper S drinks it though (contrary to the earlier poster, whose Mini Cooper S didn't use any!) BMW tell me its 'normal' to get through so much. Had the chain tensioner replaced twice (each time under warranty). No such issues with any of my LR cars over 12 years.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Narvik Black

Mine uses about 3/4 litre over 15k but it has got 74k on the clock now.

Had a E46 316 petrol once that needed almost a litre every other fill up - practically a two stroke! BMW told me it was well within tolerances! Yet my 330i never lost a drop - even when oil changes could be upto 18k between services! Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
