If you fill a tank fully full on a cold day , then the sun comes out the fuel could expand and leak out of the tank.

The fuel will expand and you could end up with a right mess, I only fully fill mine when im then going on a long trip, ive managed to get an extra 3-4 litres in but as CG has said, pointless unless your off some where right away. |

I only fill mine at night for this reason... so you get more fuel for your money !!!
