Locking and keeping the motor running

Hi all,

I nipped out this morning to start the car to clear the frost from the screens, went back indoors to finish my coffee and left it running.
Please note
I live in a very quite and small village but kept an eye on it form inside then wondered what if I started the car with one key fob and locked with the other would It shut the motor off anyone know? If no one knows I may try tomorrow

Big Cry Please no sad preacher comments on leaving the car untended life is too short thanks Big Cry

No cannot be done with a fob, once one is inserted in the dock and the engine running the other one becomes redundant. the possibilty is,

Can you lock all the doors with the blade from the Fob (central locking) or is it just the passenger door

Open the rear Tailgate.
Get in the front and lock the doors with the Switch on the dash.
Start the vehicle.
Clamber over all the seats and out the back.
Close the Tailgate.

Then to get in, unlock the passenger door with the key from the second Fob.

Is it worth it Question

I heard about a guy who was parking his car near Ibrox Stadium befor going to see a Glasgow Rangers match. A little urchin came up to him and offered to look after his car for a quid. The guy said "It's OK, I have a dog in the car", to which our little friend replied with a smirk.... "Can it pit oot fires?" garioch43
