The battery saver, from what I know, works on a time principle and not on power drain monitoring.

so far its 40 mins and the power is still fed to the lights (i put my arm inside without opening the door and switch a spot light on)

I don't think so, because when you park and lock the car you won't have a light projector behind your car to make your mirror to fully dim and draw the max current, isn't it?

not helpful really, but fitting privacy glass/film avoids the need for an auto mirror. you could say avoiding driving at night does too At work

Went to check if I have the wiring (turns out I don't) mirror popped off no problem, but won't pop back on now. Any tips?
