Windscreen

Anyone noticed any problems with their front windscreen? My 2011 seems to be very soft and has alot of stone chips or 'dinks', they're not major just visible and annoying!
Can they be removed or polished out?

Agreed. There are lots of very tiny chips in the windscreen but they are not a problem because they are far too small to cause any problems.

Autoglass give guidance on their website about when the chips need repair. I had a crack in my screen in 2010 and promptly replaced it was Thumbs Up

Tends to be due to the fairly upright angle of the screen - more prone to direct stone hits apparently.... Mini's suffer also! Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
