England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Tambora Flame
Can i just…...

Hi all
just replaced the GS with SE which has sat nav and wondered if i could simply replace the (2007-08)disc with a 210-11 disc?
will it just work the same?
sorry i have not got a clue

there is no problems you will just have to wait for up to 20 mins as it up dates.swap the disc follow the guideance and let it load,it will need to be turned on or go for a drive I have just done mine all ok.

Yeah 2012 is obviously the way to go but it really depends on your budget ! Thumbs Up

thanks very much think i will change it as mine only lists 7 countries on the disc whilst others i've seen on flea bay list many more

i notice i only have one disc when some have three,does this mean i've been short changed??,they have the same LR part number as mine. Thumbs Up

the one I got off ebay was 2011/2012 and brand new unopened it has three discs and half the price from main dealers,but I do believe they bring out a new one every year

just checked and for some reason it won't calculate a route in france although it has the map?? ,very confused lol, any ideas Big Cry

you did change the destination country to France? not just put the town name in? my garmin wouldnt find Welsh address unless you altered the country search At work

A nice little touch from Garmin which took me a while to figure. And remember to turn it BACK when you escape back to civilisation. Thought - is it the same for Scotland? Been there but didn't use Satnav so haven't checked!

On the Garmin you had to change for Scotland and Wales. You also had to change for Ireland but I seem to remember that the whole of Ireland was on one map. I haven't tried the FL sat nav 'abroad' yet but it looks as though the whole of the UK and Ireland may be on one map.
