Had these on our freelander2 for the past 2 years and they still look good now. Not so full on as full steps , yet practical with little uns in the back |

Don't go offroad with them - I managed to rip the passenger step off just by 'dropping' off what looked like a clump of grass but was in fact a boulder. The boulder missed the underside of the car but, the reduction in ground clearance was about 1.5" for the mounts. The result was the impact ripped out the captive nut used to secure the step mounts to the chassis on the inner sill. The mounts are't very good and requires the platic sill trim be modified (cut). I've now removed them and fitted new trim. I now get the proper 8" ground clearance ! 2008 Freelander2 GS TD4
