My beloved 56 plate se, has 52k on the clock, and judging from the numerous posts it must be due for a clutch in the next year or so......

not necessarily, the fact that you have done 52K would suggest that your clutch is fine and could last for another 52K !! the faulty ones seem to go at a lower mileage. Iain |

Ive not stripped down a freelander 2 box yet to see for myself but I have purchased a new pressure plate and clutch plate. The clutch linning does not look very meaty.
