Constant streaks on drivers window

It doesn't matter whether the car is filthy (like after all the snow and slush) or sparkling clean (car was valeted today). The moment the drivers window is lowered and raised again, a load of thin vertical mucky streaks appear all over the glass.

I have tried cleaning inside the slot with the window lowered and I also sprayed glass cleaner on it and lowered and raised the window so that the cleaning fluid had full coverage. The window is now clear but only until it is lowered and raised again Evil or Very Mad

Now, short of leaving the window up forever, any thoughts on a solution to this? Anyone had the same problem? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Every car I have ever owned has this problem, until we get warm weather and the "blade" dries out, your stuck with streaks.

A solution for your problem

Thanks Taz Thumbs Up

I like your attitude by the way, excellent. Any less and I would have been disappointed Laughing Very Happy LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
