You can look to see, when the temperatures are low, if the snowflake near the temperature is flashing.

Mine bleeps below 5 degrees and also on low fuel. Same bleep but only difference is the light on the fuel gauge. 2008 FL2 TD4 XS Zermatt Silver, Manual

Mine 'beeps' when temperature drops to 4degrees, and also when fuel drops to a range of 50 miles! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

I agree with Alex here. You won't really notice anything except as he says, there is a snowflake symbol next to the outside temperature digital display. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |

I've noticed the snowflake symbol. just seems a bit random during driving. I'll check it out when i'm on the road again. |
