It would be great if it was law to have dash cameras. We should design one on the forum that has a sensor that starts it recording if a car is within 2 meters or just simply you could reset it each day.. Hmm I feel an idea coming on. and just think if it always records till the memory is full it would be fantastic to catch vandals theives and idiots that just bump your vehicle and drive off.

great idea, but then they start using it to judge your driving style and start to refuse paying out claims due to it

Then the vandalism side of things, one of the disco3 members had a blackvue camera in his D3 and whilst out he moved on a few school kids that were on his permission whilst he was shooting and obviously tresspassing.

Returning back to his car he saw a smashed windscreen and caught the kids picture as clear as day on the camera, police informed, circulated the picture and nobody knew the kid.. cased closed.. no going to the local school to investigate etc

So you can film it, nothing actually happens about it though

Saying that, another member caught the garage not been very good whilst investigating a problem, not even opening the bonnet to look  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

This happened in Hull, he got ejected from the pub for lighting up a cigarette
