Had a call from the sales manager yesterday saying that our new car has been ordered with half leather seats rather than the cloth ones.

He wants and extra £592.50 for the half leather, but we don't really want to wait an extra five weeks for cloth. Just need to know if anyone has had any issues with electrics as never had them before on seats, and would you consider it good value at that price? |

There has been issues in the past with the sides of the seats splitting with the Pleather ones, on the other hand, the electric seats have not really had any faults where as the mechanical seats have had issues in the past with the height adjustment playing up and issues where the adjuster can be knocked by your leg as you enter and exit. |

Half leathers as fitted to the XS will probably have seat heaters in them, cloths dont do they? |

Thanks for pointing that out, we had heated seats down as an option on the GS, thinking we should just go for a XS now and gain the Navigation, front parking sensors, puddle map & footwell lamps for about an extra £2350 and have a higher resale value later on. Just the extra waiting time to consider now. |

The dealer might offer it for free when you tell him that you would rather wait 59 TD4e XS in galway green |

I Have the half leather too soon for ant problems, but have to say they are very comfy and I prefer them to full leather or cloth as you can get in and out easily but stay put when your driving. you also get lumber support on the drivers seat.
