Interesting topic. I tend to notice bad driving more when I’m out on a bike. Without a shadow of doubt the worst offenders are driving Audi A3’s followed by VW Passat’s, which you wouldn’t expect. The best, not surprisingly, are always Volvo drivers.

Me too, and you may be surprised that IMHO BMW drivers are amongst the most observant and polite to bike riders often moving left to allow you to make progress, equally real high performance motors M5s XKRs Porsches etc are always quick to let you through .Without doubt in a generic manner some of the worse car drivers on the road I encounter are general family motors mainly because they are not " driving" they are just going somewhere. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

the poll is missing the elephant in the room, drivers towing caravans, surely the rudest, most selfish group of them all Confused At work

i could reply with tractors but it ain't worth the hassle Rolling Eyes

Basically every car/lorry/van/truck/motorbike/push bike/kids toy brand will have its fair share off bad drivers, from the company car, sales exec blasting up and down the motorway, the old biddy driver who thinks he rules the road, the stupidly fast motorbike courier/ white-van man/hire-van man, foreign truckers, English truckers, kids on his scooter, mum/dad telling the kids off whilst driving, those on their mobiles, those smoking, those tuning the radios, though putting on lipstick, those receiving head from their girlfriend/wife/ex-eastenders actress, those with blue lights flashing, those with orange lights flashing

doesn't matter who or what they are driving, there is just bad drivers out there Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thumbs Up
A sensible answer, now why didn't I write that, probably cos someone loaded the gun Laughing

It's in the person to be a good or bad driver but circumstances can change the mood if you allow it, and some cars are aggressive in themselves lending to the driver's attitude going that way also.

around here anybody driving a 12 year old saloon car with " Private Hire" plates on the back,

I must have missed it when I had a company Vectra but these cars are obviously fitted with Nox and twin turbos, have high tech collision avoidance systems, are guided by induction loops in the road and have telemetry for switching traffic light filters instantly, or at least the driver thinks it has , or was told by his sister (who is also probably his wife) that it certainly has because she knows someone in the family who actually took a driving test , or at least booked one, or maybe not... perhaps it was his uncle whose license he borrows . rant over Thumbs Up

Balls, the M1 was empty and at night, unless you are overtaking then move to the left, plus by looking in the rear view mirror once in a while you will be able to see what's going on behind.
Typical RRS drivers attitude, change a 3 lane motorway into a dual carriageway.
