Reduced engine performance again!

Hi all

Well it's happended again, for the third time in less than a year my Freelander warning light came on and engine performance was reduced.

Unfortunately this left my girlfriend stranded in a very danagerous position on a grass verge this morning. Vehicle has been recovered to Guy Salmon in Alyesford.

The last two times it was a DPF issue Sad. !

I have contacted Land Rover Customer Services and am awaiting a call back to discuss!

Will keep you updated!

Following diagnosis at the dealership it's a failed exhaust sensor, this was apparently replaced last time. No part available and will have to be ordered.

Land Rover customer services have promised me they would call me back today, however at present no call back received.

I would believe it's not too much to expect that a brand new vehicle from a manufacter who deems it's self to be a premium band not to fail 3 times with the first 9 months!

LR customer relations have called back and advised me a temperature sensor has failed, part will be in tomorrow and expect to get the car back on road tomorrow, won't be holding my breath!

Have advised them I am really not happy and how are they going to give me confidence that its safe to drive and won't fail gain while in the third lane of a motorway!
