United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Baltic Blue

I have similar year similar mileage and had to replace my rear pads last year despite having plenty of pad material left on them, the pads had cracks around the outside and the backs of the pads were pretty rotten. I was getting a loud squeak \ squeal from a rear brake whilst driving along which I could make dissapear instantly by touching the brakes. Cleaning up and chamfering didn't help, the only replacement with new worked.

Thanks shiggsy,

What did they charge you for the work? They said £50odd for the pads plus an hour's labour plus vat for mine. Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.

Asked to see the pads, and they were considerably cracked so job was necessary. Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.
