Nope,
You shouldn't have been sold it in the first place.

It always makes you wonder when you buy used cars and you find a fault if thats why the previous person got rid of it?
Then the dealer notices it but sells it on with fingers crossed?
I mean if you only just tootled around town in it and never really put your foot down the fault might not come to light to the new owner until its out of their guarantee period and the dealer has uncrossed his fingers.
Ive never bought a secondhand car in my life, fortunately.

…..and here it is………

Look very closely around 2 o’clock and you can see FoMoCo.

I see availablecar’s 72 zone mechanical, technical and structural checks worked then! Not. Or did they wing it in the hope it wasn’t noticed. They rolled over quickly so I guess they knew and winged it. I’d reject it as I wouldn’t want some clown changing it.

Make sure it is a DMF and not one of the cheap after market Ford Transit traditional flywheel. A Land Rover owner since 1988

Sorry if I didn't explain properly.
As Dunkley quite rightly said, it's the clutch plate.

I'd hope that if you were having a new DMF, you'd get a new clutch as well. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

The gaffer(mrs) picked it up tonight and told a clutch, dmf, and slave cylinder were fitted, I hope this ends the drama and first signs are that's it's ok after both the gaffer and workshop foreman road tested it, fingers crossed!!
Thanks for all your advice and help Thumbs Up
