Electric window issues

Anyone experienced a problem with their windows? I awoke this morning to find the car still deadlocked but all windows in the down position (fortunately it didn't rain overnight, just a damp interior). Started second time.

Following a discussion with LR Assist the car is at the dealers for investigation. Andrew

You can open the windows, with the key fob by pressing open and keeping it held,

are you sure you didn't sit on the key fob or something?

My '02 Vectra had a rainsensor and if it was deadlocked and the sensor senced rain it would automatically close any open window. Does the FL2 do this

Don't believe I touch the key fob (it was stored in the key safe!). Only slightly odd thing was that earlier in the day I had tried to lock the car with the driver door not fully shut. It did the "sound horn" thing, I unlocked, shut the door and deadlocked it no problems. Certainly didn't drop the windows at that point. Here's hoping for an explanation from the dealer. Andrew

Evidently this was caused by a key fob fault. Just as well the car was on the driveway!

Wonder how long a new key fob is going to take? Andrew

somebody on here has been waiting quite a while for their second keyfob, not sure how long but its been a while

I hope the faulty keyfob has been deactivated or is out of range, as this could happen again Rolling Eyes

Same thing happened to me yesterday at a racecourse. Car is less than a week old, luckily nothing was stolen and it didn't rain!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Adover - did the new key fob cure it?

Cheers!

Help.

For some reason the auto up/close on the drivers door electric window has stopped working. I can open it one touch down but will not work one touch up! Does anyone know how to reprogramme .

i do Thumbs Up

When you hold it to close the window, keep the button held for around 3 seconds longer (you'll hear a faint clink) repeat to all windows
