Mud flaps.....

I think I've mentioned this before but this is getting silly now.

I requested mudflaps, saleman forgot so they weren't fitted at hand over, salesman said 'I'll give you a call', well that hasn't happened (didn't expect it would) made my own enquiries and find that they are out of stock and on back order.

Five weeks on, still no sign what a load rubbish. Mud flaps for a 4X4 how can they even think of supplying without.

England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Galway Green

I bought my XS-TD4 from Yeovil L R, have had good service and no problems so far. Mudflaps were fitted prior to collection and I had a tow-bar fitted last week.

I must admit, thats why I specifically didnt order them for mine... Confused '57 FL2 GS

Its really funny to look back at my original post (all those months ago), the dealer **cked by not doing what I asked (which I now know that is par for the course) but I also now realsie that they did me a favour. There is no way I would consider having mud flaps fitted now. At 21k miles including off roading and all sorts I would say mud flaps are not needed ...
