Hoping to do the LRE soon but would like to use a Freelander just to see what mine will do. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

Believe me it will go anywhere, we even took up the defender tracks, it was scraping the bottom a lot but with no damage and there Was no sump guards or anything fitted , we had a good look underneath when we got it off the ground the only place we couldn't take was the deep water where the defender goes, and on standard road tyres it clawed its self up and down the course with ease and it was very slippery out there had a job to stand up and take photos the only thing negative thing I would say is for a 40k car I think the plastics in places around the car like door cards and around the boot and inside window surrounds look harsh and cheap, but the dash and centre console are great ,

Did the LRE day recently, in a Disco 4 because I'm thinking of changing up... anyway, our instructor reckoned that the Evoque had slightly better ground clearance than FL2 but approach angle was a bit worse, as was departure angles, other than that they were identical. |
