It was good to meet you today Speedway. A nicely organised day and the police appeared to be snowed under with 4x4 owners attending the event.

I have finished marking up the car now and have placed those deterrent stickers in the boot windows, one either side. I have also used it on items such as my SatNav, MacBook Pro and Blu-Ray Player etc. I also placed a deterrent sticker in the bottom corner of the lounge window.

I wonder if 'nick f' attended? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Fair enough Thumbs Up Glad you made it because it is certainly a good crime prevention initiative especially so because the smartwater can be used on household items as well. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I got there around 930 and by about 945 there must have been 25 - 30 4x4's in the car park, luckily the police decided to start at about 950 and I was the 4th to be done. When I left there was a queue of 4x4's trying to get into the car park Shocked

Last year when they did one of these events (for all car types) It was only from 10 to 12 and I decided to go for 11, but the police had just left as only a few cars had turned up.

Been marking the car up to day and will probably do some more tomorrow, then on to the valuables in the house, the bottle of the selectadna fluid contains quite a lot, especially when they tell you to only apply a very small amount to each panel etc.
