Just started using the navfree app on my iPhone, been using a Tom Tom for years and it's as good.

The Garmin 1490T is a standard fit from Land Rover Australia in all 2011 models, excluding the HSE, which comes with the factory fit navigation. There are no gaps in the installation since they fit a plastic mask over the Garmin surround. I took a similar approach when fitting the 1490 in my 2009, getting a local plastics shop to cut the mask. There's a picture in my gallery. It's been used for just over a year now and has generally been very good. |

Thanks to egipp I went for the Garmin 1490LMT from Halfords for £149 inc lifetime maps and traffic.
