Not through the OEM screen but had one on the FL2 via my Kenwood head unit, and have one on my Passat SEL would prefer the sensors and tone though Thumbs Up

Thanks Junior, what is the reason for preferring the sensors?

Thanks AD, that looks interesting but still not sure which unit he used or how he did the install. Also noticed it was a left hand drive I wonder if the SATNAV is the same.

I can't see the sat nave being different, you can always pm the member in the states for any tips, I wouldn't have thought he would mind Thumbs Up

Had a few near misses with the camera, Ok if you're reversing flush up to a wall or another car but distorted view of anything near the corners and useless in the dark. (total darkness) not too bad if their is street lights.

I replaced the FL2 stereo with a Kenwood 9320bt with Nav, Bluetooth, Tv & Reverse Camera and the reverse sensors dont work as they run through the OEM Stereo, I think you can now get a Canbus adapter/interface from Kenwood but the Chinese inport one I bought didn't work and this was the only down side of the system.

It is the same from LHD to RHD
You just have to make sure you get the correct "video" cable for the Freelander 2 / LR2

Overall it was an easy install.
Let me know if you have any questions. Cuatro Por Cuatro

Wouldn't bother with a camera, having just had a RRS for a week that was fitted with one, did not find it any use at all, much prefer the sensors. 09 FL2 HSE auto Lago Grey
