Had a loan car in 2007 when looking for a 4x4. This was a top model but with the different nose to the current model. An excellent drive, but unfortunatly then only had the smaller engine which was incredibly sluggish. The latest model has basiclly the same motor as our FL2 (160/153 bhp) and far better. It also even then had a 5-years warrenty including service and the price was much cheaper than the FL2.

The Mitsubishi is ugly, looks like a train from the front along with most of the current Mitsubishi range. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Funny enough im getting drawn towards Mitsubishi too, i fancy something bigger still rugged and capable, and the new shogun manages this.

I thought it was made in the UK like all european Mitzisbush In any case it was (is?) the most sold 4x4 here in Norway and an excellent winter vehicle. As for the Outlander being ugly, well the Fl2 is not exactly pretty is it 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
