Vredestein Wintrac tyres question

Looking for some new tyres for my 07 HSE. Heard nothing but good reports about the vredestein wintrac 4 . Obviously this is a winter tyre, and really looking for something that will stay on all year.
Daft choice?? Will they wear out in no time?

Been using Pirelli Scorpion Zeros-not really impressed with those...

I have vredestein wintrac extreme 4 fitted. ultra grip or what. cant comment on the wear rate as only just fitted them on spare set of alloys. i would of expected higher wear rate as the grip in like driving using rubber suckers Thumbs Up

For all year round i can reccommend Nokian WR GR2. Fantastic in the snow today 108V rated too.
There are lots of reviews on tinternet.
Done only 5k so far in all conditions and no sign of wear, still 8mm tread as new.
Possibly the ideal tyre for UK weather conditions. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

I have Scorpion zeroes on mine, I would be interested why you don't rate them, not used anything else, this is my first 4x4.

Thanks for input so far folks.
Will look into those Nokians for sure, sound great.

Taztastic- from last winter's experience they didn't seem to grip very well. Driven my fathers FL2 which has some Hankooks fitted-these seemed better, but as his car is SE with 17" wheels (narrower too) that may have an influence I'm sure...

My local tyre dealer in Church Stretton. They couldn't get enough of them last year, can't remember the name of place, but will go past there tomorrow if you wish and pm you.
The Nokians also benefit from diagonal rotation from time to time as they are assymetric. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
