Thanks Alex...that all makes sense. The FCR is cheaper than Hawkeye as well. John

Hello Alex, where can I buy an MSV2 or an FCR? What is the cost? LAS in acnient Greek language means rock, earth, land (the first word of our car' name) PAE in Greek means goes or rovering (the second word of our cars' name) |

Well if selling the Rovacom can put up the difference to MSV2 from an FCR, I would do it also...

Now sold the Rovacom Lite for the difference between the FCR and MSV 2 Nano so looks like a result and a happy bunny! John

I have used and still use a generic FCR for diagnostics on a range of cars (A3, Octavia, micra, Cleo currently in household).

Has anyone any experience of the Autel MS509. My son has bought one for his Vauxhall Astra, would it read FL2?

Will read some errors, most of them powertrain and emission related, but not all errors.

Thanks for that Alex. Seems there is no alternative to purchasing the Blackbox Faultmate FRC at over £250. MY 2013 TD4 XS Manual, Ipanema Sand. Cold Climate Pack, Spare Wheel, Side Mouldings, Armrest Pack, Rear Camera, Detachable Tow Bar, Spoiler.

Hinj, don't forget that if you buy the FCR, once it has been plugged into the Freelander it will only work on that vehicle as it attaches itself to the Vin number. John
