Came across a prestige car dealer (not going to mention who or where as I dont want to give them free advertising) but they have quite simply the most astounding collection of cars for sale that I have ever seen. The highlight for me was 1 of 3 (yes THREE!!) Jaguar XJ220's they have for sale - registered early 90's, 2 collectors (not owners!) from new and a genuine 155 miles from new, all for the measily sum of £249,000.

The XJ220 was never intended to be a production car merely a concept but when it was revealed there was that much interest they decided to go for it. I remember reading somewhere that when they accounced only 350 would be made they immediately had deposits of £50,000 for each one of them (making Jaguar £17 million in one day!), their anticipated price was to be £360,000 but was later revised to £460,000. Some customers backed out and due to the recession others backed out meaning only 281 were made.
