Anyone know how to clean "water marks"of XS seats

I 've got those unsightly water marks (circular stains) on the seats of my Xc and can't seem to shift them. I 've tried hand washing them with the usual seat cleaners from Halfords but no joy. Anyone got any ideas how I do this or do I send to a professional valet company?

If you can get it in Halfords etc then Autoglym Upholstry cleaner. The retail version is a pre diluted liquid in a hand spray. Spray some onto the seat but don't soak it, leave for a few minutes to work in, get a smallish brush but not a course brush, agitate the dirty areas then wip/dry off with a CLEAN leather - preferably a synthetic leather.

NOTE:-
The water circles have likely stained the fabric & the above may not remove the marks completely so I have an Autoglym Fabric Stain Remover. I'm not sure if you can buy this product directly in retail form but I do know if you buy the Autoglym Fabric Hood Cleaning Kit then one of the sprays in there is the stain remover. Spray this in the same way as I said above. The other bottle of spray in this kit is a fabric hood protector -- -- once the seat is dry you can use this to seal the fabric to stop further stains!!

Hope this is usefull.. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Wash the whole area not just the stains as you can end up with tide marks

Don't soak the area, and if you have a wet vac sucking as much of the water out will help too

Think your stuck with it. I've tried plenty of things from what's suggested to professional stuff, all to no avail. The latest thing to get stained was my new iPad leather cover at £60! A friend thought it was a coaster! Crying or Very sad

A few years ago I had this problem on light grey cloth seats on a Mercedes. Nothing I could find would remove them, but the Mercedes dealer put me in touch with a local trim shop who used a steam cleaner for fabric which did the trick. Sadly, even getting rain spots on the seats would show water rings. Maybe a steam clean then something like Scotchguard might prevent it happening again?
