I decided to take the plunge and risk £17.80 posted A Fiesta probably doesn't have the washer jet directly above the shaft, but as a worst case scenario, I can always use it as a donor to rebuild my seized unit

Update: I can now confirm that the Fiesta's wiper motor assembly is not quite the same as the FL2 - close, but no cigar

Sadly, it was so dark in my garage that my camera did not want to play nicely. However it is fairly straight forward once you get started.
