Have you had it recharged, yours is 4 years old there or there abouts, you may have lost a bit of the fluid. It has been said that they loose possibley 10% each year and should be recharged after two years. |

Mine does it when someone gets in who's been in the rain and sometimes when starting up after I've had the air-con on.

My drivers side footwell is damp. Do you know where the AC drain is?? Would this come into the footwell?? ![]() |

Yeah mine will be 5 years old in March. A/C probably does need a service. I just hate paying for extras like that, until I have to. Perhaps that time has come ![]() |

I would agree on what's said, if you have no damp carpets etc then your 'Aircon' is probably inefficient and short on gas.

You suppose to run it up for a minute or so every week at least so the seals dont dry out, stops it losing refridgerant/system pressure. |

There is a simple solution to this and it does not involve the A/C. In alot of cases, a car that steams up alot is down to a filthy pollen filter.
