Wales 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Orkney Grey
clicking noise coming from pass footwell/glove compartment,

its done 1,000 miles now but have a clicking noise ! Happens now and then,slowing down then speeding up,it drives like adream,can find any faults .any ideas what it could be Confused Confused my11 gs td4 man. Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. Almond Leather ,rear spoiler,rear mudflaps.my13.

had this issue with mine you may be hearing fuel pump relay cutting in and out if it happens when you also going round corners clicking noise is from near the A-post at the bottom (nothing to worry about) l/rover say this is normal Thumbs Up rainy-city

I have this too (SD4), its definately a relay click, as you say, it does seem to happen with speed change.
Everything is working so I let it get on with it. Thumbs Up

there is a transfer pump in the fuel tank when the fuel sloshes about in the tank the sensor tells the pump to tansfer fuel from oneside of the tank to the other hence the tank is saddle shaped and straddles the prop shaft(rear) Thumbs Up rainy-city

If you have sensitive hearing you can here all the relays clicking whatever device youre switching on / off anyway.
