I think I would keep hold of the book (a large yellow pages) and hit the around the body with it for a hour then pass the book to the next in the queue

Hope Mr Plod is also checking with/tipping off all the local body shops as well as the main dealer. A lone drunk driver is usually a local so lets hope they catch this . John

How many silver Disco 3 and 4's are there in that area, wouldnt take much searching with the DVLA, then its just a case of visiting each address and check for damage (albeit its probably already been repaired now in a back street garage somewhere)
