After selling my gti, we (I say we wofe wanted a freelander 2) got the freelander 2 in grey, great deal.

Well after having man flu all week, finally got to go out in it today.. and what can I say well:

Awful dash board, old steering wheel, quite hard to park, and sat there moaning for first 10 miles, but then something happend I took it onto the back roads, and I just fell in love with it.. even coming onto the normal roads after, the steering wheel is a nice touch i guess history. the dash looks like a tonker truck, and again this is fantastic why do i need something that lights up like a christmas tree, great driving position when i pulled over and changed position.

I am even looking at it now and the god awful grey colour actually looks different in a good way..

All in all I am hooked, love it.. comes with all the kit I need, and with moving to the country in a years time I dont need any more car,

I will say this tho I am going to look into having the engine remapped, but it still is faster than i thought and pulls well in third gear

Make sure you read the threads about remapping as I believe there are a load of things to watch for with a manual gearbox. 2002 Honda VFR800
