No not really, it adapts to the individual driving style of each driver, if one day you drive like Miss Daisy and the next day Lewis Hamilton, it adjusts accordingley, after less than ten miles mine is back to normal. Thumbs Up

Just a thought: I used to have a 07 Passat with DSG box. That also 'learnt' your driving style. I believe it could be reset to default by battery disconnection for a few minutes. Worth a try? 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

But by the time you have disconnected the battery, waited for it to reset, connected it back up you could have done the few miles for the box to sort its self out. Even if you did a reset, the electronics of the box will need to learn the characteristics of the driver again, sort of defeats it really.

I just know you are all going to take the proverbial, but, even in a manual box, after towing the car behaves quite differently until you have driven for a while. I have read the manual (odd I know, who does that these days) and sure enough it does suggest this will happen................  MY2014 SD4 XS

You won't have a DPF unless yours is a MY11. But if the DPF was restricted in anyway you would get the warnings and Limp Mode would follow.

You called this thread "unknown power". What you describe is certainly not right. If it were an alien I would translate as "take me to your leader". As it is a Land Rover I translate it as "take me to your dealer". Sorry mate, it may cost you! Sad edit - but I see it's under warranty!
