And with Pinky admitting today that it costs £200 a month just to own a caravan, surely the caravan holiday idea must be on its way out

Anyone see the Focus crash tested into a wall at 120mph on fifth gear last night? |

I did! Nifty crash! Just makes you wonder how much a car will crumple! |

It doesn't take much to cause damage that the insurance companies deem beyond economic repair. SWMBO was in a traffic jam in the middle of Bristol on Thursday morning, stopped, handbrake on, when the car behind her had "a problem with the clutch"! Her 206 estate was shunted forward by at least a metre. She is absolutely fine. A bit shaken up but OK. The towbar on the car (used for a bike rack, I don't think the 206 was heavy enough to tow anything!) was pushed into the rear bumper enough to stop the tailgate from opening and it looks as if the boot floor has rippled. Car value £2500, repair costs so far £2350 and that was the end of the 206. |
