The details there are the D3/RRS /FFRR ones, I hope the Fl2 one is better as the quality is not good and the phone book cannot be accessed through BT. I don't think you'll need a screen for the pti.

So the LR2 has no function for the soft touch screen except for the satnav? |

Believe me lots and lots of people have tried, but none that I have heard of have succeeded. Martin have you heard of any? |

In theory it is possible, but unlike the BMW system the format of the data on the LR system is much more complex.

I'm told that in cars that don't have built in satnav there will be a storage space where the touch screen is. I'm just hoping that space is big enough for my TomTom ! Problem is all the cars that are around at present (or have been tested by the media) seem to be HSE's with all the bells and whistles. I want to see a GS in the flesh! |

Here is an image of the inside of the XS model without the Sat Nav, if that helps

Satnav is the same unit as D3, the pti is better. You can use sat nav on the move, which you couldn't on D3 until MY07 |

Who manufactures the sat-nav - is it Alpine, or is that just the ICE ? |
