United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey
HID conversion

Have do a bit of searching on here about headlights and the lack of light they give out, purchased a set of HIDs from HIDcity when I was at london2brighton earlier this month, went to fit them to swmbo's FL2 57 GS but the HIDs don't fit in because of the way the headlight bulb is held in, contacted hidcity they sent me every possible fitting connection that they have but as of yet non fit, have any of you guys and gals fitted any and if so what connection did you use,

Did have a look in halfords re brighter bulbs but for extra £20-30 thought I would get some of these, swmbo says she likes my D3 xenons and if I don't get hers sorted she is eying my D3 up for winter Confused

HID lamps are good, but not ideal for retro fit, they are designed for projector style headlights, the reflector type is unsuitable for HID lamps and you will be constantly hounded by oncoming traffic flashing you as the glare like hell.

Retro fit the headlamps for MY11 projector types and use the HID's that is the best route but not ideal as it will be an MOT failure unless you put halogens back in each time.
