Sportier mesh grille on Diesel Freelander 2?

Hi
I'm new here so one of you guy/girls probably knows the answer:

Is it possible to exchange the standard ffront grille of the Freelander 2 with the more sportier mesh grille of the petrol/fuel Freelander?

The 2 rows grille reflects the Ranger rover family much better and the Freelander looks better with it.
So I don't understand why Land Rover did opt for 2 different fronts? Or does the Diesel need more air supply?
As it is now the new Diesel Freelander just looks the same as the actual one (frontwise speaking)

Thx.

Manou

Lots of talk about this on car spy shots, it seems that there is only one grill

I've definitely seen two grilles on vehicles out and about on the roads, although all the vehicles at the motorshow (and the yacht) had the 'mesh' grille.

To change it looks like you'd have to remove the bumper (which is a huge one piece moulding) and then drop the grille insert out and push a new one in Surprised

I heard it was a last minute change, but time will tell I guess. I think I prefer the mesh one.
