I have noticed that the dashboard seems to be looking grey rather than black. It is parked outside with the afternoon sun on it. Has anyone else noticed this and have any ideas on how to make it look like new again?

I would be looking at whatever you have used to clean it with as that may be the cause.

With all the aerosols in the npinks household, I would think the ozone layer above Leeds should be more of a concern to the 'greenies' than the one above the AntArctic. |

Tailored dashboard covers are available here for the popular cars, but my previous Subaru Outback, 7 years old, and Honda, 9 years old, showed no sign anywhere of internal discolouration or trim fading. The Freelander is now coming up to 3 years and, again, no sign of any trouble at all. Mind you, the hottest I've seen as only been 41〫C, so it may be different in the consistently hotter parts. |
