Government spending cuts has resulted in police forces throughout the UK to review their policy for maintaining their fleets of high performance pursuit vehicles / Vauxhall Astra's. A deal has been struck with a leading UK manufacturer to integrate their vehicles into existing fleets with a view of all existing stock being replaced in the next five years.
