Tolerance on a speedo during manufacture is 0 to +10% so all are inaccurate, wheras the Garmin will be fairly accurate, providing it can see enough statelites with a wide enough angle of dangle.

Might it also be a fault with the temp sender, wiring, or with the cluster, and that the engine is reaching normal temperature quite normally? |
