Have you got sufficient gas in the system as low pressure will cause the clutch not to engage.

I think the fuse for the tailgate is shared with the fuel flap motor,

Mine is and 07 and is TRS I use a standard stereo cable that fits Samsung and Apple phones and the radio is a CD-400

Remove trim screws, remove trim, and unbolt brackets - the nut serts turned on mine but managed to jam them with a screw driver.
At least I think that's all I did.

Try using a long screwdriver or simular to listen to the noise you might be able to narrow down the area it's coming from, I had a simular noise but louder and it turned out to be the A/C compressor. ...

Mine often judders in multy story car parks when wet, I find switching to GGS mode stops it.
