My rear wiper assembly seized due to water penetration... I think there was a leak from the washer hose...
Anyway, I just swapped it over with new/nearly new bought off of eBay

97k miles over 4 years, horse towing and some very mild off roading...
No problem apart from tailgate switch and wiper motor over that time... Great car!  |

for those that dont have the luxury of a warranty... part number is LR002243
fault is water penetrating into the gear mechanism, corroding it and then it eventually seizes...
cost is around 140 ... |

it struck me this morning when i was scraping the ice off my car that the 3 rear windows have (what appears to be) heating elements on them but only the rear window elements actually work.
