I have 19in wheels as standard and I reckon my speedo reads higher than actual speed. However, I haven't tried it over a measured mile yet. The circumference should be pretty much the same with 17 or ...

As far as I know, it just runs in 'normal' 4 wheel drive, with no option to switch in any jiggery pokery controls for snow or off road. Probably suit most drivers for 98% of the time!

Saved up and sent off for the pistol grip. Ordered at weekend and arrived 1st Class post on the Tuesday - all for £6.99!
I have fairly small hands and wouldn't want the grip to be any smaller but fin ...

I agree with Past Master that the handbook appears out of date! I didn't know that my sat nav has an off-road setting until it came to light on this forum (and also the Evoque equivalent). There is ...

I'm fairly sure that not all model variants share the same door mirror, or at least the housing is not the same. From bird's eye view some have curved housing and higher spec models have straight hous ...

Or you could always go on an Land Rover Experience Course. I managed to rip off the drivers door trim on some ice. The instructor just lined it up and gave it a good thump and off we went again! Mine ...

Hi Mikeyw, Do you have the wing mirrors with the curved cover? There was always a risk of movement with not all of the clamping surfaced in contact. The new HSE's have a flat faced cover which allo ...

Hi realspeed, I too use a D800 with telephoto lenses. I find it quite unforgiving due to its resolution, coupled with my shakiness! I think this might be worth a try - certainly at that price. I upgra ...

I have the large Milenco mirrors and think they are great. The wing mirrors on my 07 SE had a curved front so the towing mirrors did not fit flush. I was just about to use a pipe bender to shape the ...

Yes, agree totally. I guess the LR designers and specifiers haven't done the lateral thinking course! It's a bit like the DVD player being pretty useless if you can't watch it on the move and it turns ...

I know this is off the subject of front sensors being disabled (sorry wurzel153) but just for ad, if you have the rear view camera fitted, you can superimpose the rear sensors distance reading (roughl ...

Agree with that. It also seems pointless to have the facility to play DVD's, as you can't watch them when the vehicle is in drive and they turn off after 15 minutes (or less if battery is not fully c ...
