Had a worsening rattle from both sides at the front.
Only on bumpy roads, but it wasn't always there.

I've compared NBU and RING xenon ultima and the RING units definately seem better.
The name is a bit confusing as they use xenon gas but are used in place of halogen bulbs.

To report on the outcome of this;

Reconditioned gearbox fitted by garage under warrany. Bearings/shaft damaged beyond repair according to mechanic.
Clutch and dmf reported ok.

Good point.

I'll ask them to have a look at the clutch and DMF. I wonder what the cost would be for the clutch/DMF and oil seal replacement assuming that the labour associated with getting at them ...
