you cant fibreglass that , it needs welding as its close to seatbelt mounts , should be a fairly straightforward panel replacement , most bodyshops should be able to do that Thumbs Up

Just done mine today; rod and flaps came out easy enough.
Do you remove the bushing between the ports that the brass rod runs through as well?

If the fridge works off 12v in the car, why don’t you just get a leisure battery as you planned and connect the fridge 12v direct to that?
