Mine was a faulty motor too. It was replaced and seems to have fixed the problem.
Symptoms before were a brief pause or glitch for a second or so during the wipe cycle mid way through the sweep. ... |

My wipers packed up on Boxing Day too!
Same story, LR Assist unable to fix it, into the dealers etc until the New Year, but the hire car company did produce a Range Rover Sport HSE instead!
