I used 1,000 and 2,000 grit wet and dry sandpaper. Then plastic primer, paint, lacquer. Similar to how bob mentions, took me 3 days as i left it to dry well. I went for anthracite on mine.

I picked up a cheap bumper that had a bad grill as an upgrade for my 2008 bumper. Spent about £20 on paint and laqour from halfords and resprayed it myself. 6 months later now, still holding up well. ... |

Looks great. I did this to mine last year using halfords Anthracite grey. Very pleased with mine, so sure you will be happy with yours. |

I got a bosh branded replacement a while ago for £15 and have had no issues. And easy to swap over. |

Had the pipe at front of engine go a few days ago. Replacement arrived today and all fitted. Pain to get to the top end but other than that a fairly quick and cheap job.
