Good news, ground out the pressed metal with a pencil grinder, hammered out the old bearing and used the old bearing to hammer in the new bearing. The size was correct thank you. Cqr

Indeed, it was the fuse in the box in the boot that was blown and a fuse in the box in the bonnet was just a bit loose. All working now. Thanks.
