| They are genuine LR (ie OEM) and in excellent condition as I quickly replaced them with carpet mats. |

No, its just a plastic lipped mat with a sort of carpet non-slip finish in the center.
Certainly does the job.

Its very straightforward:
Undo and remove 2 x 10mm bolts on top of headlight
Lift up black tab and slide headlight towards front of car by about 50mm
